Johnny, Thanks for the review of 'Trio Tail' Gokul
Protilius, Thanks for your thorough review. I am afraid I don't get that point, and there is no audio repeated. I understand something that could sound exactly like some previous work. Let me check some of your work and I may re do if I could grasp what you have said. Thanks
I think you may have miss interpreted me... The problem I found there was there was NO repetition. The main melody was kinda all over the place. I never had a chance to get into a groove with the song because of this. Like I said in the review... Focus on structuring the song's format so that there is an identifiable verse, chorus, etc. Give me an element that could be considered a melodic hook. Something that entices me and becomes a familiar element.
Hi! We know us from here so we avoid facebook and write at "home": "Happy birthday!" We thought about a gift for you. Maybe a great idea but you already had one with broadjam. Or maybe talent but you also already got it. A good song? You already have a lot of them at this place. A great family ... no, that's your own job and we think you made it fine. But what we can offer is to remain loyal broadjam members and support this great network in every way we can. We wish you the best for the next 51 years (or 52). Best wishes and a great day, Gerald Maier and Myrddin Triguel
Gerald and Myrddin, Thanks for your eloquent and thoughtful comments.....I am very lucky to have all of the above, but most importantly to have good family at home and here at Broadjam. Your comments are greatly appreciated.....Thanks for being a member, Roy
Roy Nice to share a B-Day within a day of you (i'm the 19th) so it's nice to deal with another Virgo! Have a great day! Steve Dafoe
Hey Steve, Thanks and I couldn't be in better company. Hope you had a good one as well.....Roy
"It takes a long time to grow young." - Pablo Picasso Glad you grow young, with music; Happy Birthday!
Gokul, Thanks and I do feel younger...sometimes! LOL. All the best, Roy
You, my friend, are a genius. You've pointed out unforeseen nuances and insights, perspectives that have, to me, gone Unnoticed! Thank you so much, can't wait to hear what you have to offer musically.
Hi, Can't wait for a similar song from you, probably with no constant organ, which would be perfect Asian :) Good day.
Hey Gokul, Welcome to Broadjam! Thanks for the kind review of my instrumental, "Aegean Trails". Glad you liked it. Yeah, I know I threw some bluesy aspects into the song.... but it livens it up and makes even more "world" than "world"....if you know what I mean. You can hear a lot more of my instrumental work at my site ... http://www.broadjam.com/chetnichols Best to you! Chet Nichols
Hey, I LOVE Trio Trail :)..I am greatly influenced by Indian music and have much respect for your style..Keep up the great work! Morgen
