Cheers Donnie, for your review, J.
Thanks for your comments on Bobbi Jo's instrumental track....III agree on the lack of bottom to it....The same song with lyrics might have corrected that....thanks again
I appreciate your review of Bobbi Jo....I am at a loss however as to why you would think this song would be a good Country track. Can you elaborate a little more me....Thanks again!!!
I I was wondering what record label are you signed with....
It would be nice to say I was signed with anybody but I have had no success with my songs. In fairness I don't ever send them anywhere. Joining Broadjam is as far as I've got. My ambition is just to have some songs signed, recorded or published. Joe
Thanks, That cleared up some things....
Hi Donnie. Many thanks for your kind review of my tune 'Into the Valley'. I didn't understand your comment 'Again'. Did you mistake me for someone else?!? Anyway, many thanks for listening from a cold, snowy England. Matt
I am so sorry...I did. I listen to Ben Stone's work so much, I got confused. That said....You still are a great artist. I enjoyed it!
Greetings Donnie, Thank you for your review of "News That Matters". In fact it is a stand alone song and not part of a larger song.
Good stuff..Indeed
You are so kind..Thank you for your words!
You are a great composer! Hope you make it big.
Hey Donnie- Thanks man, hopefully someday soon!!! Cheers!!!! -Benjamin
Also, thanks for your review!!
Is it me?...But I noticed that after listening or reviewing a song and you click the "Submit" button...It just sits there and doesnt go anywhere. It does this on all my computers.... What's the story here?
Thanks for the review....You're right on!
Your welcome. keep up the good work
Thanks for the review. Review the rest of them for me...LOL! Thanks !!!!
Might do that. It was my pleasure.
BTW, I love your home page art work!
Thanks so much. Take care.
It soesn't surprise me to get an email that starts out with loads of praise and how the person loved the song and how well it was wrtten, arranged, and recorded.....Only to end the email with "But"...or "However", its not right for what we want. What they want??? It's called a stick...to dangle the carrot.
And ....I cant spell....Oh well..Nobody's perfect...Or are they?
I just want to go after these guys. It isn't right...it just isn't right. Click and watch what happened when a fraud calls me and accuses me if being a thief .... Click the link below http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZChYVF1M5Ng 1
Thanks for your kind words and generous comments. I shall listen to your music soon. Thanks again. D Bennett, Birdflower Productions
You're welcome, you deserve it. You are the one who recorded a great tune!!
I just listened to Floating.....Would you be interested in recording some sax tracks? You rock!
Yeah man!!! I'd love to. My email is: flashpointjazz@aol.com
I'll be in touch!!
I like the quality of the recording of "I can see it in your Eyes". Was this written for a film score? If not...could be a candidate.
Donnie. Thank you for your kind comments.Yes it was written for film/TV. It has come close, but not close enough.. yet.
Is it me, or is the jingle music for TV ads getting more and more sounding like it's coming from the same writer or writers? Like the little sound my laptop makes when it goes into sleep mode, Bing Bong....
Donnie. Thank you for your review of 'Everything her Little Heart Desires'. Firstly it is a 1960s pastiche, so originality was not my first concern. The Ringo Starr comment was spot on. With regard to the production/arangement the hard drive went down before it was mixed properly. The whole song was effectively lost before it could be remixed. What I do not understand is why you commented that you liked the lyrics but gave the lyrics 2 out of 5 ?
First off.....I did not know my comments for for the actual artist. My apologies. I would have been more sensitive. I know that might be hard to understand but I am. Not a great judge of someone's else's work. It is my first time reviewing. I will listen with more of an artists point of view next time. So sorry. Your song was great. If you wrote that, I would say keep it going.
If the listening audience would remember this simple fact when listening to my songs. I am a writer, not a recording artist (RA) or wanna be RA. They have a different website of sorts. Thank you to those who hold dear to them the sole reason behind this endeavor....That is to get your songs noticed and covered. If judges base there opinions on the quality of the recording, then I truly believe that the potential of the song is somewhat lost. Sorry, I just had to say it. I am in the planning and production stages of 2 new music videos for my new demos called..."Someone's Shoulder" and "Lady by the Fire". Thats about it....Oh!.. and dreamin of making it big as a writer. Just thought I would throw that in there.
I am finishing my mixes on several previous mixed songs with my new equipment. I am now using the Apogee Symphony with the Neve 16 channel Summing mixer. Sounds great!. I am also looking to purchase some UAD plugins...Perhaps the Neve Bundle.
