Yes, I love technology. Bobby Day, Jr. -- the guy who's played lead guitar on a few of my tracks -- is from Idaho. Paul Messina -- the sax/flute player on "Strange Moon" -- is from Miami. I just send them the rough mix... they record their part, then send me their wave file... and I master the whole thing down. Kind of fun, actually.

I actually graduated high school with Bob. He and I were in a cover band together in those days. I met Paul here on Broadjam. I had a tune in my inventory that I thought he could add a fine touch to. We got to talking, and he was kind enough to lend his talents.

Let's face it, not all music appeals to everybody. That's what makes us unique individuals. The same goes for those of us that create music. Music is what feelings sound like. And when we create, we reveal a bit of ourselves. So... when I review songs on Broadjam, not every tune appeals to me when it comes to musical tastes. However, I'm not going to review tunes based on my personal taste but, rather, on originality, creativity, musicianship, and so on. When I come at it from that angle, then I know I'm offering a fair and honest review. I owe that to the artist. With that being said, it's always a pleasure to hear new music and develope new friendships here on Broadjam. No matter what your genre, I wish you the very best in your success. Your music is your own, and I applaude you. Peace.

Great point C! Let's not forget that those categories in themselves are very subjective. One reviewer's idea of originality and creativity can be completely different from another. The same applies to the scoring system as well. Once this concept is realized, receiving reviews will be much less stressful and may be thought of as a tool, instead of an impending attack by a fellow broadjammer :) We can only strive to review another artists music the way we ourselves would like to receive a review. Love your music C! Keep up the great work!

and unfortunately, alot of reviewers have no real concept of music...they just know they dont like it, and ignore the lyrical, emotional & musical values of pieces. Ths especially applies to "Noobs"...lol!
