Enjoyed "Ride Billy Ride". :) 5 stars for sure
Wow! I love "Jesus still walks the broken road"!! Love the lyrics, great deep vocals, nice hooks.... Nice guitar accoustic! It definitely brought tears.... I was picturing Jesus walking on a dirt road, helping and healing everyone He encounters!! Great imagery... Thks for sharing that song... Let's connect.... Many Blessings.. Julia Schmidt
Thx so much Julia. Work tape and all LOL. At the time I just wanted to get it out there hoping it would minister to anyone in need.
Your very welcome!! God is great.. Indeed! Thks for sharing:)... I feel this is definitely a ministry for me as well!!... Many Blessings... Julia:)
Hi Michelle. I listened to Mama's Eyes. Musically, the verse melody is too predictable so maybe you can experiment with some different chord progressions and timing. On the other hand the chorus melody doesn't have a natural flow, a flow where the listener instinctively feels where the music will go. And as we know the chorus is where a musical hook must be. You can bury it in there but not too deep. Lyrically, and I have been told this many times...try to find a more unique way to express the feelings...dig a little deeper, paint the story with some different colors. I love Who is This Man Jesus and look forward to the full production. Your voice is awesome as always.

Congrats on your rewrite. This is a terriffic song with a universal lyric. Your demo singer did a great job of interpreting. I think this song is ready to move along

Kudos on the ad jingle licenses. Could you share how the process went for you. Thanks and continued success!
Thanks Christopher. I submitted to the jingle opps. I managed to get into the select pool, then the client happened to like mine. I was very fortunate. My Mom wrote jingles when I was growing up and I used to help... They are like mini songs. Verse- prechorus chorus and trail... in 60 secs. The interesting part is when you have to take the same jingle and make a 15, then 30 sec spot. Where to edit and such. I actually really like doing ads because then, I don't have to worry about the second verse which is always problematic...
Liz, thanks for sharing and WOW are you ever right about the second verse syndrome, I am dealing with that right now on a co-write. In fact I think I'll call it SVS for short. Take care and thanks again.
Congrats on all your Top 10 activity....well deserved!
Thanks Christopher, it's a start, and it's encouraging. All the best Valerie
Valerie, I like your 10,000 Angels also. The melody is very strong. - Chris

Hi there Christopher, Love the lyrics to "Jesus still walks the broken road" Have a great weekend, Valerie
You and Joe are terrific. Thanks much. That's a song that was written in a day. Same to you!
So far the best songs always happen from a moment of inspiration. I find the songs that I work over and over and over don't seem to have the same spark.
Dan, thanks for your great and valued review of Baptizin Party on Caney Creek. I appreciate this from an accomplished artist. Best wishes to you and take care.
Hi Christopher! thanks for the connection , regards , Marie.
thanks for the ralph murphy info-joe
Hey Johnny thanks for your review. Appreciate all your comments and its good to hear from a fellow Tennessean. My demo singer is talented but he also missed some phrasing and inflection that was in the scratch demo. Producers and I went through it with him but eventually we decided it was a style issue and went forward. Regards & Good Luck
Thanks for your very kind review of Baptizin Party on Caney Creek. It's definitely a fun throwback....appreciate you....let's connect

Buc, thanks for your review of Baptizin Party on Caney Creek. Your comments are right on. It actually was written for a successful Indie Christian Country artist. She has indicated that she may put on next album. We'll see. Best wishes to you and your family!
Christopher, thanks for the writ-up! yes better recording, to be honest this was the first song I ever recorded by myself. Actually I do all of them. But man did I make every blunder you could. I did all the instrments, and as I just learned or was in the process of learning the drums, I turned the beat into a skip heart beat. the original has a more steady 4/4 type beat with a stop, one day i will re-record thanks again! jim
Thanks for the kind review, glad you liked it. Look forward to listening to your material.
Thanks for reviewing Any time or anyday Christopher, We are new at this ( two months) and are learning. My brother Bob started it by writing lyrics, then I started collaborating with him then arranging, producing and playing the instruments. ( singing, recording ) This tune is the only one that has a guest guitarist on lead from the band Mad Rain, Gene Lyska, and he is terrific. Thanks again---J E Fleurent
I just listened to Jesus Still Walks the Broken Road. Really nice! You should be able to get that on the charts somehow. It's great.
Thanks Carlene, it seems to be one that only songwriters and church congregations appreciate....I think Jesus likes it so it's all good.
Thanks for your review of Ride Billy Ride....best wishes to you!
