Hello again Roy & BJ! Thanks for providing this wonderful service! As a new Primo member, I was wondering if it is possible for me to set- up some sort of prepaid account for making submissions? (as having to enter my credit card info for each $5 submission charge is kind of onerous?) If I could say have $20 -$50 in a submission account that would probably facilitate submitting a tune. Please let me know your thoughts and thanks for your help!
Carmine - we currently do not have a credit system in place for licensing submissions, but this is a good suggestion that we have discussed before. I'm sure we'll be revisiting the possibility in the future and we'll be sure to let you know.
Hey Roy & Broadjam CS. This is a follow-up to my previous question about submissions What I really do want to know is if it's appropriate to submit covers? My understanding was that we are supposed to be submitting original tunes not just original recordings of existing tunes (unless it says that) (I'm assuming that "Rock of Ages" is in public domain so I guess that's not considered a cover though I'm also not sure how that can be considered for licensing) Please clarify a bit more if possible. Thanks, Carmine
Carmine - Unless specified otherwise, opportunity providers are looking for original songs.
Hey Roy, Just put in a submission but was confused when it came to the peer review? It asked for nostalgic songs but one of 2 instrumentals (by was seemed to be the same artist) I recognized as "rock of ages" Is that appropriate? Also the 3rd was a song about breaking up but the submission asked for songs highlighting a couple's life Is that appropriate? Thanks for you help in advance! Carmine
Carmine - We get as many details about the opportunity as the provider can give so members know what type of songs should be submitted. Beyond that, we have no control over what a member chooses to submit. If the submission is off the mark, the provider will know when he/she listens to it. The best thing you can do is stick to the guidelines as best you can.

Chaz , Just listening to your new tune Tennessee Dreaming but the volume is really low? Sounds like it might be cool but can barely hear it. (I don't have my pc hooked up to speakrs right now but that is usually not a prob)
Thanks so much for the review of tennessee dreamin'...i was going for the traditional 'torch song' feel so i hope it came out like that. i'm going to hear your songs now.

Hi Carmine Thanks for the review of ( The musical highway of life ) and welcome to the broad jam tribe all comments taken on board Keep rocking and all the best ps The Dragons great band name it's my nation emblem Destiny is a great track to Pete.
Chaz, Thank your for your recent review and comparison to Bobby Goldsboro. (FYI he's still alive) I'm flattered to be compared to an artist who has 29 hit songs and also received twenty-seven B.M.I. awards as a songwriter! On another note I want to commend you on your weight loss and bravery in making the transition. Your dad was a great songwriter so I'm sure some of your tunes will be hits too! Good luck!
Hiya Carmine ... Shimnecon is a Native American word for Apple Orchard (or Ox Bow (the jury's still out)) Chippewa tribe Chief Okemos in the mid 1800's used to camp at this spot and called it his summer home. We I was a kid we would hang out there and have keggers. The chief is buried there and they say he still wanders the area. Thanks for the comments! Cheers! pt
Thanks for reviewing my song "Little Bird". It was mixed and mastered by Jim Monroe at the Racket Room in Orange County. Hope you enjoy the broadjam experience -- like most stuff on the web, what you put into it is what you get out of it. :^)
