Greetings to all friends, fans and fellow musicians: I am writing to let you know about a new TV show "SouthEastern Music Showcase". It features performances and interviews with the best indie music artists, from throughout the south eastern US, in a music news-zine type of forum. It is open to every genre.... just gotta' be good. I am the producer of the show and one of the co-hosts. I would love to see some of you on the show! This is a totally sponsored show; meaning there is no fee to submit your music for consideration, no fee to appear on the show, and you cannot buy a performance slot on the show, the only expense to the artist are travel related to get here. The show airs locally in parts of NC and VA (Reidsville, Eden, Madison, Mayodan, Wentworth, Greensboro, Burlington, parts of High-Point and Winston-Salem, as well as Martinsville ,Danville and surrounding areas). The station also streams live on their website so you can let friends and fans that don't live in the viewing area know the viewing schedule and they can watch it online. Right now each episode is airing 10-20 times the first month and an equal number of times the second month. So there are lots of viewing opportunities for your fans. We have contracted with an outside source for syndication and that is actively being pursued with other stations and networks throughout the county with our first focus being on the south east US. This is a good way to grow your fan base. While I am producing the show I am only 1 on a panel of judges making the artist showcase decisions... I am pasting a copy of the rundown of the submission guidelines below. If this is something you are interested in I would encourage you to submit... like I said this is open to good music from any and every genre. Here's a brief run down on the submission requirements: It can be one person or a group/band. SouthEastern Music Showcase is open to all genres of music. If your act is unsigned, is gigging (performing at least occassionally), performs original music (the act/band/artist must own the copyright(s) to the material they are performing / no cover acts are being considered), and you are AWESOME at what you do - then you just might be exactally what we're looking for! You can visit our website http://www.southeasternmusicshowcase.com 1 where you can click on the "Bands and Artist" button and send us a message telling us a little bit about your act. Be sure to include a link or some links to video of you or your band performing. It can be youtube links or video from your website, or facebook. You can also "Like" us on Facebook and send us a message there. Again, be sure to include a performance video link. Please note: we are not conerned with the quality of the video, we are looking and listening to the quality of the performance. Our panel of "judges" are reviewing every submission that comes in.
Out of 17,000 artists submitting world wide, Britt Warren was one of 26 chosen for the "Sweet Relief Musician Charity" promoted all over the world . Visit their website to see all of the well known artist and actors supporting this org. and learn more about them. https://www.sweetrelief.org/

Check the video out when you have a chance and pass it on. Thank you for your support! For Immediate Release July 8, 2011 ARE YOU SOMEBODY'S SHAWTEE? Well, I can tell you who's not; comedian, actress, singer extraordinaire Debra Terry (of international notarity in the standup comedy world). Terry declares she is "Nobody's Shawtee" in This same titled single and video release. Debra Terry teamed up with performance artist Britt Warren (known for his intricate and energetic guitar instrumentals)have knocked the ball out of the park with this indie single, "Nobody's Shawtee" complete with video (available for viewing now on youtube) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TfKFQIL1V9w in which Terry definitely shows her likeability by the camera.
