hey tom-i been tuning my guitar to open e--i met mr.kraig kenning awhile back-who changed my music direction forever-he is our national slide guitar champion from chicago-man he is great-i use open e,because he does-what do you set your guitar too-many tell me open g or open d-i use a glass slide or bottleneck and a brass slide--i like the glass slide-gonna try copper pipe soon--i love this thing--i can play-2-3-4 hours at a time-no problem and i like to play loud-the open e might be good for loud playing--cheers--joe

hey tom/just stopped by to say hello/hope your thanksgiving went great--cheers--joe--i been working on my new guitar a bit-it is a resonator steel body regal--i might get some delta blues on here yet--you sure do a great job at the delta blues style pickin--i love it--i am learning how to do slide--i played out twice a bit and got standing ovations twice for about a 3 minute run each--i keep thinking cats a screeeeeching-but the people love it--see ya!--joe
