Imagine my surprise today when I found out my song falling had made number 3 in the female top 10 chart. Must be a bug in the system as that chat is dominated by males....???

Dear Jeff, many thanks for your thorough review of my song Falling. Just a quick note, the lyric is "soaring" not sorry, which might bring the song back into context for you, as its a song about addiction. Surprised you thought it was "sorry" as you are the only one so far who missed that lyric. Thanks again and all the best, Pete.

Hello Pete. Thank you kindly for your review of my song "Color The World" (I believe you mentioned "Million Supernovas"). It was just licensed to a global media company. I am grateful for your time and your feedback. The song is meant to end at the point it ends, so it was not cut off for what that's worth :).

hello Pete down under,
thanx for your accurate review of my song "Close Your Eyes",,,,you are VERY correct on this female vocal....this was recorded almost 6 years back, and by one of those "shops", i did pick the singer, but they did the entire song in the wrong key, and she frankly couldn't hit all the notes the way i wanted, so they DOUBLED her for much of the song...geeze, but i learned my lesson, i have a new producer, and i'm a helluva lot more forceful with what i want...long way of saying you are RIGHT, but thanks for recognizing the potential...all the best to you, it's approaching SUMMER down there?
peace, warren hein

Hey Pete down under. thanks for reviewing Faithful Always Faithful, a (vintage!) love song I wrote for my husband. Your comments were very fair. Believe it or not, someone licensed that song for an indie film....but I was NOT excited about the content of the film. Oh well, maybe a little God light in a dark place. Hi Pete.
Thanks for the review of "Now that my old friend has gone" It was actually my best friend that died of the big C in 2010. I was feeling down at the time and found myself writing that song. If nothing else it made me feel better.
Anyway thanks again.
Regards Thomas.

Hi Pete, Thanks for your review of "Hold on Me". All of your comments were spot on and your scoring was fair and appropriate. You have a very good sense of music, thanks for what I consider a perfect review of that song. Dave

Hi Pete thank you for your review. I wanted to fill you in on the music you reviewed. The piece you listened to was a cut off my second CD called "Journey Around The World: A Mayan Odyssey" This album is a concept album and what you heard was a interlude (track 1) called "Winter Solstice 2012" and (track 2) called "Between Heaven And Earth" Every song on the CD is interconnected. If you would like to get an ideal what the overall theme was we were trying to accomplish, the albums web site is journeyaroundthesun.com
Thanks again

thanks for your review of Red Dress. My idea was to have the song be like 4 guys 'busking', sparse instrumentation. This was also my first effort with a home PC DAW studio. I will probably remaster it

Hi Pete, thanks for your review of 'Dance Energy' they must be throwing my demos at you at the moment sorry! Bang on with the 80's feel by the way. The mix feels muddy as I was playing with a freeware version of autotune for some reason on the backing vox on the track, and a restructuring synth known as a 'plex', which I need to learn how to handle.

Cheers Mate, Dave

Hi Pete, many thanks for your review of my dem of 'Lose yourself in me'. You were bang on with your constructive comments, its always good to get another muso opinion before getting something out there. I also want to reinforce it with more hooks. I played around with the EQ last minute in preference of a more 'bass' feel on the synths, I think that is why they have not come through as such, so I overcompensated with the choir wheel pad, although I am always looking for a 'cinematic' sound. I was worried about my falsetto attempt also!
Kind regards Sir

Dave
