Hi Penny, Jackie Carlyle stopping in to listen to some great songs of yours. xoxox
Hi Jackie! My computer crashed ( hope things will be able to be retrieved) but I am stopping in on Dennis' computer tonight. Thanks for popping in and listening to some of my tunes! Hope your Spring is going well! xox
Penny Towers Wilber ROCKS!
Hi Penny, You are soooooooo multi-talented. I wish I knew how to use Broadjam better. I guess I have to sit and process all the info once and for all. xoxoxo Jackie Carlyle
Hi Jackie....I've been on Broadjam for several years and am still learning about things here and quite slowly I might add...Little by little! Your song writing is great! I read about the kids on the Horses don't see color description you had. Made me smile! Sometimes the children are amazing!
Jackie I love "Horses Don't See Colors"! Beautiful lyrics , melody, production and important positive message. We need more songs like this in the world and fast! Nice work!
Hi Penny, So here is where I answer you back, lol. You are such a doll. I got your email. I have to find my way around Broadjam. It's all this info, lol.
Yes here you are! It takes a while getting used to the commenting thing and I still post things sometimes and have no idea where they actually went... :) Getting the hang of it more now...Thanks for your messages!
Hi Jackie, I sent an email , hope you got it and that it's helpful in terms of the playlists..Kind of confusing in the beginning. I remember! Thanks for wanting to add a song of mine...I love your work! xoxo Penny
xoxoxoxo
Penny, I would love to add one of your great songs to my playlists but don't even know how to do what you've done. Can you email me and explain how you do that? I'm not good with this stuff. xxoo Jackie Carlyle. jcwriter@me.com
when you play one of her songs, look at the radio thing and click the square that says add to playlist--pretty easy after you do it a couple of times--joe
"Keep Fighting" great song Jackie! Very positive and strong. I notice you write many deep and meaningful songs, very connecting, wonderful creative work!
You are such a talented person. It means a lot for you to say that to me. xoxo Jackie
Your songs have great impact Jackie, keep on creating them, positive messages and wonderful imagery..xoxxo Penny
hey jackie,my friend penny towers wilbur has some really neat songs and video's-she even wrote and recorded a birthday song for my 56th birthday last year-she is really cool-i'll check out some of your songs soon/peace-joe.
Thanks for listening to my little French song, not perfect but it was a different kind of project so thanks for the positive comments. There is a video on You tube also that we did...Goes by the title...Again" The Friendship" is a very special one....
"The Friendship" is a deep and beautiful song Jackie! Lovely, heartfelt vocal and wonderful lyrics. A true treasure of a song!
Thanks Penny. It mean so much to me that you took the time to listen. Best, Jackie
I really like Je Pleur Dans Ma Coeur. I love this type of song. It's so different from the mainstream. It's creative. So many of the songs you do aren't cookie cutter. I've said it before, but I watch lots of foreign films and love a song like this. x Jackie
Thanks for your review on AxinosDream
Thanks for letting me listen. Best, Jackie
Jackie: Thanks for listening to "Oil and Water." I appreciate the props. Best, Mack Harrell
Thanks So Much, Jackie, for the "Turn Up the Moon" review. Didn't think I'd get such a good review for such a silly little song. Guess I have a lot to learn about "shopping" songs (particularly in Europe); seems I send songs all over the place and nothing much happens. But with positive feedback from people like you, I'll keep at it. Just listened to beautiful "Arllington." Lovely vocal harmony, and your vocal delivery is haunting. Chincoteague, VA is one of my favorite places; used to bring the kids there, years ago. Thanks Again. Dave Downs
Thanks Dave. When I did that CD, which is very Ambient for me, it was a kind of oddball track. Usually I write lyrics like the ones for Amsterdam, or the Friendship. Arlington was more hymn like. I watch lots of foreign films and I hear songs like yours a lot. The French, especially, love quirky songs like yours. So do I. They are different and don't follow the main stream. Whether you meant to do it or not, it has its own style. Let's connect. Best, Jackie
Hi Roy, I think I have been goofing up on Broadjam. I'm not the most computer savvy person. When I've submitted songs I haven't been reviewing others and I've noticed that when I check the status of my songs from even a year ago, I have no answers on them. Can you tell me why I wouldn't have any answers on them? Thanks. Jackie PS I've just started learning how to review songs. I don't know if I've made mine available for review. I don't know if I've gone to the right place to activate that feature. -- Despite my lack of computer savvy I do have my strengths elsewhere in life, lol. Best, Jackie
Jackie, Thanks for the note and being a member. I think you are referring to two things here. Regarding the submissions, I will ask our licensing manager to address the status as he his more on top of it then I am.....Regarding the review mechanism. Make sure your songs are activated for review. To do this, click on edit profile, My Content (bottom of screen), songs tab. On display you will see a red emblem next to each song with an "x" on it, click on it and that will activate your song for review. I looked at your account and currently your songs are not activated. Hope this helps.....Roy
Hi Jackie, I will check in to the opportunities that you submitted to that are still in review, but I also wanted to give you some insight in to why it take a while for results to be in. With the exception of a few of the "immediate need" opportunities, alot of the films that are requesting music through Broadjam are actually in pre-production when the request comes in. Some of the films have a release date as far as one year out. A Broadjam member recently placed a song in the film "Dinner for Schmucks" less than two weeks before the release date, so music decisions are made up until the last minute even though the search begins far in advance. We also work with quite a few music supervisors at networks that work on multiple shows that have ongoing needs for music - so they ask that the submissions remain available to them for future consideration. We are actively working on improvements to the process so you'll be able know more about what's going on before the decisions are made one way or another. Any feedback you have would be greatly appreciated. All the best, Jesse
To all Broadjam friends. I've been a member of Broadjam for awhile but never really understood how to work it, lol. Please bear with me till I learn. I'm just beginning to discover some of the wonderful artists in this community.
Thank you so much Penny. I look forward to listening to more of yours too. Jackie
Your song "Forever" is beautiful! I look forward to listening to more of your work soon.

Hi Chuck, I really liked your music and you really think about your words, so I really want to listen to your stories. It's always a pleasure to hear someone with something to say. Best, Jackie
Thanks Jackie for your review! I think you are spot on when you say the lyrics should be more clear. Any other feedback you might have would be greatly appreciated. I am not afraid to improve or receive contructive criticism. I'll check out your songs too. Thanks again!
hi jackie, thanks for the review of 'i'll wait for you'....listened to 'amsterdam'....excellent songweiting....i'm very impressed.
Hi Sankey, Thanks so much. Please forgive me if I goofed up reviewing your song in any way. I'm new to the process even though I've belonged to Broadjam for awhile. I'm not the best with technology and when I see all the buttons I get crazy, lol. I'm trying to get better. You're an artist I'd love to listen to more. I'll try to connect to you if I can figure out how. Best, Jackie
