I will be tweaking a couple of the tunes I have posted and will be makeing better recordings of new tunes I am working on. This was one of the first tunes I recorded on my own. I see and appreciate the quality of work in the writing... the composition is really well done... it's just that this is not entirely my kind of music Constructive Comments Reminds me of Kaitie Maelue, it's hard to break into that kind of genre, but if you make it.. you are always valid.. There are a lot of things that you could have commented on that you didn't, starting with the fact that the kid singing this difficult song was 5 at the time.....secondly, I don't know who this Kaitie person, but I've been told by a lot of folks that the song reminds them of "When I Was 17"....which I totally relate to! Rich, There was no age attached to the voice, sorry I missed that. being associated with katie Melua is actually a HUGE compliment... she is one of the biggest UK based top selling artist around the world. Musicians NEVER should get involved with genre's......that's the job of the non-musician to figure out and label (usually in-accurately)what kind of tune it is.....former truck-drivers turned music critics and 'writers' generally butcher that little detail to death...so who REALLY cares what GENRE anything is...I DON'T!.....now the kid's voice?.....its obvious that a child is singing, isn't it?.......actually, that's a big compliment right there, as apparently you DIDN'T know that it was a child (although I can hardly imagine that!).....yes, if you didn't know Jovanny, the 5 year-old vocalist, was a child then you definitely wouldn't have been thinking about his age.....although it would be fascinating to have crawled in to your head when you were 'listening' (?) to this track!
