Hey, Dianne. "Hocus Pocus" is one of the very best songs I ever heard about someone who is so adept as a subtle, sly manipulator; the kind that has you slipped into something poisonous before you're even aware of it! The title and lyrics are really strong and have a different way of telling the story that's memorable.

Hi Diane! Hocus Pocus I'm hearing as a gem. A real cool singer/songwriter folk rock gem, with some polish of course but so damn well conceived and I can hear it lady! Kudos and much luck with the tune!

Warren! Thank you so much! I wrote it last year in a weekly song challenge. The topic was "the past is reappearing". I think it's kind of funny, especially "I really should be going before you cut me in half". I laughed so hard writing that line.

I love the new "I'm That Other Guy". Great lyrics and production! I can't give it stars on my phone but there will be 5 on there soon!

And He Can't Fun? That song haunts me so much. I'm not sure why it must be a super good song and also I was always a fan of Bruce Jenner
I think you're crazy if you don't try to do some thing with that song in market

Waves: terrific appealing, catchy tune with an anticipating beat, like a heartbeat. Restless lyrics where you know you want to see the tide change and tear away. Sounds like much of my life, wanting to somehow climb up to be equal with everyone else; yet wanting, even insisting, on having myself be accepted and for it to be okay to follow my own path, against the grain of how everyone says you're supposed to do it. It's a great song!

Don't worry about it... Old Testament Gustav is more interested in burning witches and warlocks than understanding them.

It is unfortunate that he chooses to hold public executions frequently. It is even more unfortunate that I lack the control & temperance to "shrug" his hostile insinuations off as I should.

His business with V is his own. I am not the one who insists on bringing up a subject he knows so little about.

It is not something I like to discuss. I honour my mentors memory by playing the roll he asked of me.

Why this is even a discussion is beyond me. Yet he will not let it die.

Regardless, I felt my soul sink a bit when I watched a seemingly complete stranger nuke everything he doesn't know about me...

And act like that is acceptable behaviour in a public forum.

I wish him all the best.. and encourage he seek out peace of mind by sticking to his art, his passions, and choose to not destroy the hard work of others, or their dreams... No.

We build people up.

We heal.

We create....

We don't do public hitjobs over a beef with a man that's been dead for half a decade.

No...

Sorry. I will do better. You deserve better.

It's no wonder the good lord intends to end the world in fire... He can see clearly how much we love it.

Creator bless, stay safe.

Thanks much--just listened to your top listed 4 tunes and I am impressed! I couldn't give you the stars from my phone (may be a Bjam issue hell I broke down and bought an XR which is cool...) but once I get to my studio and peace/quiet I'll rate them. You know your rough demos resemble mine, but your voice is better! I usually on my Boss 1600 with pecking pieces from my crappy roland 70 come up with 4 tracks and my complete idea--then send to my main producer and the bavk and forth hoes on for weeks! Important thing is to get to a point where you're happy and you've done all you can to express your musical/lyrical ideas
Damn that was long winded--we've been couped up in California for 5 weeks (we started a week early in the Hein house...) ok I'll shut up. Stay safe!
