Chris Canas is a young blues/soul musician who is dedicated to keeping the blues alive in the hearts die hard Blues fans while sowing seeds of interest in young fans. Chris has performed with many artists and some local celebrities. Chris started his career as a cornet player in the school band and then joined the jazz band. After moving to Ann Arbor, he quickly enrolled in the school of performing arts where he refined his improvisational skills. They played all around the Ann Arbor area including: the Ann Arbor art fair, Top of The Park , Firefly Club and the legendary Bird of Paradise. Chris crosses genres with ease and loves mixing a little old with the new. His band The Chris Canas Blues Revolution is gearing up for the "Blues Gone Wild" tour pumpin' new life into old souls.
