Since the release of the Internet Album "Dusk Till Dawn" Digital instrumentalist Chalwa, has been enjoying a lot of attention from Euro based Recording labels.UK based TechnoWire Records, has approached the artiste with an offer for street distribution in Europe, that could possibly propel the artiste into the Capital of the Electronica scene and establish CHALWA as Jamaica's first successful Techno Artist.US Based Grand Royale home label to the infamous Beastie Boys have shown interest also in the artist, and is currently in discussions with the Artiste local label, BlacFinga Records to whom the artiste has signed an exclusive five year, four album deal.Chalwa signed with underground label, BlacFinga Records in July of this year and has since released seven MP3.com TOP100 singles including one TOP 40 single, "Ebonics", which peaked at #28 on the HipHop Bass Charts.Born in Jamaica, Chalwa's musical influence was spurned from the dub sounds of Roots Reggae and the electronic beat of techno/rave music.
