Overview:
“Pursuit of Happiness” is the second album from singer songwriter BK Diaz. The 2003 self distributed first album, simply titled “BK Diaz” gained critical acclaim and some significant AC radio play. Brooklyn born, Long Island raised and now based in Los Angeles, Diaz is no new comer to the music scene as he has toured the globe as keyboardist and backing vocalist for various multi-platinum artists including White Lion, Gary Richrath/Reo Speedwagon and Iron Butterfly. However, his solo work is far removed from the stadium anthems that we associate with these bands or as Johnathan Widran (Music Connection) says of “Pursuit of Happiness”, “this mix of beautiful melancholy tracks reflect an ongoing spirit of living in the moment”.
