urlJason Williams a.k.a JBilla, Known as a triple threat .who writes produce and mix all of his songs.Born and raised on the Infamous Westside of Chicago. Being influenced by a high crime neighborhood and surviving the streets of Chicago gave Jbilla the attitude that he can make it anywhere and doing anything. Jbilla style of music is like no other, he combines the streets with truth. Taking what he learned from the streets and using it as a positive road map to those who are lost in the streets and addicted to fast money. Jbilla lets his listeners know that there’s always a way out of the fast life. In 1999 Jbilla started writing songs with a couple of friends who later formed a group called “Third degree”. Performing all over Chicago at venues such as the House of Blues, Chicago West, 99’ Back to School Bash at Lafollette Park, The Clique Night Club etc.. In 2000, Jbilla began writing and co-writing songs for the label Red Hot Records. Jbilla and Ghost collaborated together and wrote the hit single “Red Hot” which received radio spins in Chicago and the neighboring cities of Indiana and Detroit. Jbilla and Ghost appeared on the Royce Glamour Show; a show for upcoming and established artist in the Midwest. Broadcasted in Chicago, Indiana and Detroit. Performing “Red Hot” the artist was on high demand on the local television program, and performed at an array of venues .. Jbilla took a few years off to devote his time into personal and his artist development. In January of 2006, Jbilla have formed his publishing and production company JbillazProductionz and has recorded an EP titled “Developed Soldier” which is set to be released in March 2007. Jbilla want his listeners to be aware that there is power in music and what you listen to is what you become. So Jbilla invites you to step into his world, and be blessed. .
