I have been playing either guitar or bass in different rock bands since I was 16 years old, but more recently I started to write my own songs and sing. I now perform my songs acoustically, singing and playing acoustic guitar at open mic nights and occasional gigs with one of my friends David Taylor, who lives in Spain and who has organised gigs there and in Bangkok. I also play electric guitar in a rock band called The M.O. in which we play a mixture of my songs and songs composed by the whole band and perform around the Leeds and Wakefield area.

I wrote my first song (The Light) in 2008 when I was travelling around the world for a year, during this period David Taylor was recording his first album 'Among Others' in a studio in Bangkok and included this song on the album. Since then I have kept writing, and now have 14 of my own songs which I am in the process of recording at home for my first album.
