My Secret Place was founded in 2012 by Danish Folk'n'Roll singers and guitarists: Jesper Westergaard and Esben Hegelund. The duo began their musical journey by jamming out at private parties, and occasionally filling barbecue-packed parks with the sweet rims and sixties'- and seventies' influenced melodies. The duo prides itself on their simple yet strong songs that can be performed using only acoustic guitars, or by a full band. Regardless of how and where, the duo jams and sends vibes of goodness into their surrounding; creating an atmosphere of mellow grooves and rocking beats. In January 2012, the band's first EP: Welcome to My Secret Place was released, and since then the duo have been soothing and rocking gigs in Denmark and in Germany; sometimes as a duo and other times as a full amplified band.
