Jeffrey Cobb lives in Traverse City, Michigan and works on projects throughout the country. He is an active composer working in a variety of mediums and genres. His music falls into two categories: works for broadcast, and works for the concert stage. Jeffrey has scored music for several independent and festival-bound films and his music can be heard extensively on broadcast and cable television. His music has also received extensive airplay on radio stations throughout the U.S., Europe and Asia. Jeffrey's music for broadcast reveals his strength for compositional flexibility, running the gamut of styles and genres.

Jeffrey's compositions for the concert stage are performed by ensembles throughout the U.S and in locales afar including Columbia, the Netherlands, Sri Lanka, and Belarus. He has received numerous compositional awards for his original works and is frequently commissioned by ensembles throughout the country. Jeffrey is also active as a guest conductor and clinician, working with state honors choirs, and performing with his own ensembles on the national and international stage.
