I am a 19 year old independent music producer from Memphis, TN. I have no big, fancy, music studio, but a sony laptop, ableton, and a set of beats by dr. dre headphones. But that doesn't stop me from trying to live out my dream of being a top music producer ;D Using broadjam to try to make money for college.

My Story

Hello, my name is Quintessa Taylor and I hail from Memphis, TN, USA. I'm turning 18 years old in August and I will be attending Christian Brothers University this fall. My love for music started when I was young as I loved to dance to it at first. Due to the selection of music I listened to, whether it was rock or r & b, there were certain songs that I would listen to that felt as if they were grasping at my heart and there were some that made me cry and experience such a override of emotions (for example Eric Carmen's "All By Myself"). That's when music slowly drifted me away from dancing and I been in love with it ever since. I played the trumpet for about 6, 7 years now and was in my high school jazz band for 2 years. I'm thankful for the basics I learnt in jazz because they helped in my development for being a music producer. I'm grateful to have joined BroadJam because I want to use my talent to make money for college funds and to help out my parents (who have only $200 in their checking acount right now) All in all: I just want to help my parents out and not have them worry about stretching out their dollar bills :(
