Her Story

For as far back as she can remember, Autumn Ashley has had the desire to sing. Born and raised in the Midwest, her love of music creation was cultivated by her parents and peers. From listening to classic rock with her father in the car, to writing songs with her mother before bedtime, her musical style has always been informed by her surroundings.

Autumn Ashley began her music career touring with Acquire The Fire as a worship band member and leader for two years. During this time she performed for over 200,000 people and shared the stage with musicians like Delirious, TobyMac, Jeremy Camp, Newsboys, Skillet and Superchick.

Her music has often been described as a heart's cry with rhythms and lyrics that evoke a very deep, raw, organic emotion. "I have been given this gift, but it is not about me. My music is an offering for people to relate to, learn from, be blessed by and think about," says Autumn.

Her first solo album So Long, Hello was born out of recent life experiences. After struggling with her fiancé's hospitalization and illness, as well as transitioning from life on the road to a quieter existence, she wrote the album as a way to process these changes.

"She is real," says Bryan Boecker, drummer and former Acquire The Fire band member. "Some of her most beautiful music is born from adversity."

Autumn Ashley currently resides in Connecticut with her husband and continues to pursue her craft by writing new material, performing at local venues and helping lead worship at her church. "I have reached a season where I am at peace with who I am and where I am going with my music," she says. "I love to share my heart through my creations and pass along the expression of my journey to others."
