BULLETHEAD'S BIO
Bullethead is a Rap/Hip Hop/Pop/RnB composer from a small country town just outside of Mobile, Alabama. Bullethead born, Travis Onier Boykin, fell in love with making music at a very early age. His father played many instruments, mainly the guitar, drums, and piano. When he was a kid, hid dad bought him a drum set and a bass guitar for his birthday in which he learned to play mainly by ear. As he got older he became wildly fascinated with rap music from New York's growing music scene. Some of his early influences were Run DMC, L.L. Cool J, kool Moe Dee, The Fat Boys, M.C. Lyte, Heavy D, N.W.A., and even 2 Live Crew. After graduating from High School, Bullethead and a group of friends got together and formed a group called Dirty Green, of which Bullethead and his friend Shooby were the group's production team.
In the early part of the 2000's, Bullethead left Dirty Green and started his solo career as an artist/producer. His first single entitled, "A Lil' Bit Kuntry" got a lot of spins on the local radio station, (93 WBLX) on Nick @ Nite, (The Krunk Monster) and DJ Rod-Ski's Home Grown show. He also had 4 other singles to debut on the same station. Bullethead produced for quite a few other Gulf Coast Artist such as Rellik, C-Nile, Da Last Mr. Bigg, B Da Meezy, JAYROWE, South Boyee, Hitman, Young Work, Bama Boyz, and many more. He has also done work with Papa Duck, an underground artist from South Florida.
In 2011, Bullethead started aiming his focus on submitting music to different opportunities such as TV, Film, Advertising, Video Games, Online Media, etc...So far, he's had a lot of success being selected numerous times by different Online Companies such as Broadjam, MusicXray, Sonicbids, and ModernBeats.com. Although this is a fairly new direction for Bullethead, his first love will always be Dirty South Hip Hop music!
