Classically trained at a top music conservatory in composition and piano performance, Marie Budinsky-Maher resumed her musical career in 2009 after earning a M.A. in Music Composition and concluding her multi-year corporate career for a Fortune 10 Company where she held positions in Finance, Operations, and M&A.

A member of ASCAP, Marie is a versatile composer experienced in a broad range of musical styles from orchestral art music to world music to commercial music genres including adult contemporary, smooth jazz, American song book and music for film and TV.

Marie maintains a private teaching studio in piano, composition and theory while continuing to compose and promote her music for commercial placement. She is a member of the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA), the FSMTA, and local BCMTA. She has obtained MTNA National Certification in piano performance and is serving as the Chairperson for the BCMTA's Composition Competition.
