After almost a decade of touring the world and recording straight ahead rock music, singer/songwriter David Robert King is experimenting with the sounds he picked up while traveling with his band and drawing from heroes of the American song, Woody Guthrie, Bob Dylan, and Townes Van Zandt. King uses the styles of folk, bluegrass, old-time country, and rock 'n' roll to "transmit his signal". His song's and live performances have caused quite a buzz in the modern folk/americana world and are touching audiences night after night in the Northwest and beyond. His first solo project "Take Me Home" was released in July 2009 and is getting rave reviews and is selling well. An Idaho native, King is an exciting performer whether playing solo or with his band, "The Lost River Boys".
