Robert Scott Thayer started writing songs in the third grade. A Temple University graduate, Robert continued perfecting his craft performing at various venues. Thayer has received numerous International Songwriting Awards for his music in the acoustic, pop, jazz and children’s genres. He was discovered by a promoter for the 25th anniversary of the original Woodstock Festival. As a result, Thayer was slated to open up for Joan Baez at the historic event in upstate New York.
