Christy is a singer/songwriter who lives at the foot of the Mourne Mountains in County Down, N Ireland. He has been playing live and singing for over twenty years.His considerable songwriting and performance skills have seen him play support to, amongst others, Brian Kennedy, Mary Black, Dwight Yokum, Sean Keane, Fairport Convention and most recently Juliet Turner.
His first album "All Growed Up" was very well received. Here Christy's accomplished versatility is clear in his varied musical styles and instrumentation which always compliment the diversity of his lyrics and distinctive vocals.
He has just accepted an invitation to be resident songwriter with 'Rostrevor Writers Collective who attract many International Artists.
Christy has recently returned from a very successful trip to Nashville Tn. At the moment he is planning to record his second album in Nashville - summer 2005.
