Amy Lacey is a singer/songwriter from Las Vegas, Nevada. Amy has been composing music since age 4. Since then she has written many songs in such genres as Christian contemporary, country, instrumental, sacred hymn, and others. She is classically trained in piano and viola. She pursued her love of music in high school and later at Brigham Young University, where she graduated with a BA in music. In 2000, Amy recorded “Occasions,” an album of songs she had composed for special occasions. In 2005, Amy released her second CD “He Loves Me Still”. Amy enjoys composing and performing with her husband and other family members. She recently won the 2006 Summerfest Songwriters Showcase in Logan, Utah for her song “We Almost Fell in Love.” In 2006 Amy wrote and produced the CD “FLY!” for Marla Cilley (aka FlyLady) which can be ordered from their website FlyLady.net. Amy has a special interest in working with and advocating for people with disabilities. She is also interested in Music Therapy.
