Technically, we are a crossover, Christian hard rock band with a majority of our radio play being non-Christian. Almost all of our tracks have reached #1 on various charts all over the world. Our latest record features Danny Miranda from Queen and Blue Oyster Cult on bass. In a recent review we were called "Gospel-spreading Las Vegans set off on a journey to glory." Please don't let the Christian label fool you, as we rock as hard as your favorite bands.
Our latest track is a beautiful balled that is guaranteed to touch your heart. Based on a single guy wondering when he is going to meet that special gal. Please listen with an open mind, and enjoy!
Sounds Like: Shinedown, Disciple

The Word66
A Christian rock band on a mission to spread the word with rocking melodies, and positive lyrics, coming from a place deep, within their hearts, and led by the Holy Spirit. In a recent review they were called "Gospel-spreading Las Vegans set off on a journey to glory." But don't let that title fool you, they rock as hard as your favorite bands.
Founded in 2018 by veteran guitarist Steve Scott, who eventually recruited Brian Torres and newest rocker Lance Crane, and special guest bassist Danny Miranda. The band is inspired by various artists including the likes of Sabbath, Shinedown, Creed, Disciple, and Thousand Foot Krutch to name a few.
The band's latest record 'Rock & Roll Preaching,' features some of their hardest rocking tracks assisted by the tasty bass lines from Danny Miranda from Queen and Blue Oyster Cult fame, along with a beautiful, heart ballad called 'How Will I Know,' which is guaranteed to touch your heart. Their debut single 'On the way to the promise land,' as well as all but one track have reached #1 on various radio station playlists, throughout the world, from Christian to metal and mainstream. Steve had lost his way from religion and his love for playing music for many years until God brought him back to fulfill this purpose. He stated "We all have a purpose in life. It took a while to understand ours."
The band's purpose is to write music that will send out various messages to all who would like to hear. Steve added "We just write some good rock n roll with positive lyrics." "We like to think that in some cases, we are adding some light to the darkness." The band continues to unveil an original sound that is edgy, with a touch of commercial acceptability, bringing catchy melodies, with thought provocative lyrics. Quoted as " music that delivers a 1-2 punch," and humbly "if STRYPER are past their halcyon days now, THE WORD66 only begin to rise and shine."
