Biography of Lottie Bishop/Cellini-Corley Corley, Bishop/Cellini Lottie - Born Lottie Bellinda Bishop October 19, 1963 in San Diego CA. To parents Josephine LoCicero and Lyall Bishop. She married her husband Michael Scott Corley Sr. Where she now resides in North Carolina. Lottie vividly recalls writing her first song at age six. A Halloween song called "Black Cats." She feels as though her biggest musical influence are The Beatles. Even though she may have been a baby in 1963. As a teenager Lottie recalls singing and harmonizing to their songs. Lottie writes songs from ballads to alternative rock. The only instruments she uses to write her songs are a pen, paper and an old microcassette rocorder. My artwork was placed on the cover of a book called "Prick of the Spindle" an art/spoken word book. As well as on the back cover on a separate occasion.
I am currently a member of NSAI. I have had accolades in print on my profile for my song "In the Dark" and "My Mistake." I was also runner-up for the Richmond chapter. "Chapter song Challenge.
I came in 6th place for the alternative rock category. For The great American song contest for my song "My Mistake."
I am studying to be a singer-cantor and am in my churches choir as a soprano.
