God's Gurls Bio
G.G. aka God's Gurls was birthed by Bishop Alfred T. Lands in November 2007. During this time, he envisioned a group of young women with willing and submissive spirits to give glory to God through their gifts.
God's Gurls is unique because it consists of 6 females who are self-contained & have decided to use their singing and musicianship to glorify Christ. Their musical genre falls under urban, contemporary infused with jazz, christian, R&B and gospel.
G.G. has already had the awesome opportunity to open and share the same stage with phenomenal artists such as Earnest Pugh, Vashawn Mitchell, the Anointed Pace Sisters, Dottie Peoples, Corey Webb, & many more. They have also been blessed to sing for the Four Pillar Awards Tribute to Arthur M. Blank (ATL Falcons owner), the Life Link Organization and perform overseas on board the Royal Caribbean Cruise ship "Oasis of the Seas." Other great platforms include but are not limited to: The Cobb Galleria Center, Georgia State University, and Word of Faith Family Worship Cathedral (Bishop Bronner).
However, in spite of being busy with music, G.G. still finds time to hit the books. These young ladies are current students and graduates from colleges such as but not limited to Spelman College and Georgia State University. They are majoring and currently involved in the following careers: Engineering, Math, Communications, Criminal Justice, School Counseling and entrepreneurship endeavors. God's Gurls' sole desire is to spread the message of salvation, purity, and sincere praise to God through their music. "You can be educated, beautiful and live a life that is pleasing to God. We invite all females to adapt this lifestyle and become a 'God's Gurl.' We invite all males to look for these qualities and marry a 'God's Gurl.'
