Composing texts out of reading books was Anat’s hobby as a little girl, but she grew up to be an Organizational Psychologist, finally running her own consulting business. Only then she started taking guitar lessons, humming tunes that soon became songs, getting enthusiastic reactions. In the meantime Anat found herself in the business side of music, initiating and managing an acoustic Blues band, and later managing the Psychedelic-Rock band “Rockfour”. Successful gigs as a supporting act made Anat realize it was time for the inevitable album: FALLING. Songs from the LP are frequently played on the Israeli radio stations nationwide and the LP, among other excellent reviews (www.anatdamon.com), was rated 4 STARS by AMG. Anat was selected to showcase at MIDEM 2006 in Cannes, France, and was accepted enthusiastically by the music industry audience. Anat and her band were recently selected to play at CMJ Marathon 2006. Anat and the band are now in the studio, recording VOCATION, her new EP.

"...But Damon’s first album is much more than this. It will seep under your skin. It puts cheek next to cheek. It is a good night kiss. It is a masterpiece, no less, storing in 12 tracks, almost 44 minutes, an entire life. Do not miss it."
Kolbo Magazine, February 27th 2004
"There is nothing new or earth shattering in Damon’s approach to song- making; she does walk a road well traveled, but with this collection of 12 songs she reminds anyone who dared to forget that beautiful songs are unbeatable. And she has many such songs. Damon turns out to be a precise composer and performer, with many personal, candid songs that are never boring, do not mess with over sophistication and mostly do not fall into the exhibitionist whining traps, so well-known with the young singer-songwriters around here."
