Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Alan has been writing songs and music since he was sixteen. A multi-instrumentalist, a songwriting student of Steve Seskin and a performance student of Caren Armstrong, with a BA in music production and songwriting, Alan released his first CD, "The Streetlights Long For Dawn," in 2005.

As of 2009, Alan is working with Adrian Wolfe Productions in New York on a new CD and performing in California.
