My roots lie in the British invasion and San Francisco bands of the 60's. I've played in a horrible cover band, a great blues band (even though I couldn't play the blues for beans), and then started writing my own material -- finally things started sounding good. I play violin, mandolin, and a little piano. I was classically trained and have worked as a classical violinist, so if you have a good ear, you can hear echoes of Rachmaninoff as well as Cream in my music. On the tunes that I have uploaded, I'm singing and playing a customized electric violin of my own making, a $50. Stella mandolin that was hooked up with a contact microphone and plugged into a "fuzz box", and, this is way cool...a 1956 Fender solid body electric mandolin (cream colored) which I strung like a viola (a fifth below the violin), which technically makes it an electric mandola! Enjoy!
