Jacqueline & her Rougemix Record

Jacqueline.T (b. Shanghai, China 1986) writes intimate compositions that explore enigmatic phenomena and the inner nature of how we perceive sound. She recently finished her B.A. at Shanghai Theatre Academy and currently she is working towards a M.A. in composition at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music.

ROUGEMIX Records was founded in 2007 by Jacqueline.T. This label is a simple gathering place of electronic/contemporanry Music, for young artists who come from pure academy of China.

Jacqueline and her friends' inspiration comes from interests in religious phenomenology, cinema, acoustics, literature, poetry, and visual art. As a composer and performer, Jacqueline always attempts to bring insights from these other fields into her work.
