Matthew Bonnan is a unique blend of dinosaur paleontologist and singer/songwriter. He has co-discovered three new Jurassic dinosaur species and explores how the movement of modern mammals, reptiles, and birds sheds light on the locomotion of their prehistoric counterparts. A self-taught musician and producer, Bonnan embarked on his songwriting journey in 2021, using music as a medium for science outreach. His debut album, Once Upon Deep Time, is a captivating pop/rock song cycle that delves into the evolution of hearing and our deep connection to the tree of life.  In 2024, Bonnan began crafting his second album, An Ode to Everything. This collection takes a more personal turn, exploring diverse themes such as the bond between humans and cats, the Clever Hans effect, a whimsical tale of a time-traveling scientist, and the journey of self-acceptance.
