I am a singer/songwriter in St. Louis, Missouri, best known for my internationally popular song "Up in the Air," the theme song for the Oscar-nominated Jason Reitman film in 2009, starring George Clooney. I have self-produced and released three CDs and am working on the fourth right now. My first music video, for a song called "Goodbye Typewriter," made it into the Wizard World (Comic Con) Film Festival in 2014. My songs tend to be introspective, and are influenced by my suburban midwest upbringing, and alot of time spent in nature, pondering the ups and downs of life.

I am working on new recordings and trying to raise my profile in the industry by submitting songs to many different opportunities and outlets. I am learning the art of self-promotion and trying to reach as many possible new fans as I can. I really hope to get more songs in movies and TV shows in the next year or two. Communicating through song gives me more satisfaction than almost anything else! I also have a separate thing going with my Neil Young tribute band, Shakey Deal.
