I'm Grand Jury, a genre-blending artist from Finland whose music is deeply rooted in both personal experience and a lifelong passion for melody. I create in a wide range of styles—from British pop and American blues to reggae, country rock, heavy metal, folk, bluegrass, Dixieland, and more. Every song I write has to have a strong melodic and harmonic foundation. Monotony kills my inspiration—variation is what keeps the music alive.
I compose all my own music and often write lyrics as well. My two main collaborators are Dawn Sinclair from the UK and Amy Caldwell from Canada. We've been writing songs together for over 20 years—without ever meeting in person.
