I recorded my first album, self released in 2006, sneaking into my uncles studio while he was asleep because he wouldn’t record secular music in his studio. That’s when I was a Pallbearer and released “Chaste Machine” where it received worldwide indie and underground love.
Then I founded the Texas Red legs. Extra points if you get the reference to the Clint Eastwood movie. There never was no, Texas Red Legs. We recorded an album in our bedroom, travelled all over Texas and Oklahoma, and were the finalists for the Shiner Rising star competition in 2010. The papers were writing about us. The Dallas Observer reviewed our album “Rattlesbake Inn” and spoke well of it. Then my entire band left me for my songwriting buddy. That was fun. Drugs, egos and Yokos helped bring it all down but, yeah. This is after me and my buddy went to Nashville showcases of mine where I was bringing my buddy along for the success. More fun.
