With their unique combination of vocal, instrumental, songwriting and composing/arranging skills, Common Chord creates a delightful soundscape.  Common Chord performs great arrangements built around 4-part harmonies with flavors of folk, swing, bluegrass, blues, rock/pop & more, with appeal to all ages. The group focuses on originals plus unique covers from the likes of Tom Waits, the Beatles, Robert Johnson, Paul Simon, Gershwin, and lots more, and even some eclectic version by groups such as Styx and Yes. Shows include use of guitars, bass, guitar, mandolin, fiddle, clarinet, cigar box guitar, percussion, and sometimes cello and more. Members:  Michael Bryant (co-director, vocals, guitar, bass, mandolin); Tracy Jane Comer (co-director, vocals, guitar, viola); Bruce Buttel (guitar, vocals); Delores Jenison (vocals); and Faye Bruggink (clarinets, bass).
