Butterfly Valve is my working title as a musician. Conoco is my first solo album. It is a collection of songs reflecting on too many late night long distance motorcycle trips and the wandering thoughts that follow you. This is music is for driving. Play it loud in your car. Stay awake. Drink gas station coffee.

Now I have a studio in our guest bedroom (or guests sometimes sleep in the studio). I write, perform, and produce everything myself. If you are into nerd details, I record on Logic 9. There are no loops. Everything is made from scratch.
I live in Madison Wisconsin and just do this for fun. I have an extremely tolerant and wonderful wife Ann.

I have already started writing my next collection. But don't expect to see me live anywhere. Unless you join me for a cigar at Maduro in Madison.
