Standing In The Rain

Standing in the Rain is a memorial for Hart Skipper, drummer and sometimes bass player, dear friend, and sometimes lover from my College Band, the Dementos. Born Feb 28,1978 - Passed from This Life Feb 14, 2003. Too sweet to live, too young to die. It is not the first cut that is deepest, but the love cut off in its prime by death that refuses to die. I put this piece together from an old bass & drum track we were working on together, the last one, as it turned out. It is my hope that with this tribute video, 5 years in the making, 15 years in the planning, I can finally lay that ghost and move on. Be the Love & the Light, - Nick
