There are times when we feel completely down and alone... It seems like there is no light or hope left in our lives. During such times the feeling that no one is with us and no one understands can lead to our hitting rock bottom. It happened to me several years ago and during that time when no human being did anything to help me, I found that God's love was there for me, every single day. He reached out to me and His love became real to me sustaining me through the entire period that I suffered. During that time, I had started reading the Bible and didn't know much about it. These words of God from Isaiah 43:1-5 really touched my heart, it says: "1 Now, thus says the Lord, He Who created you, "O Jacob, and He Who formed you, O Israel: Fear not, for I have redeemed you [ransomed you by paying a price instead of leaving you captives]; I have called you by your name; you are Mine. 2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned or scorched, nor will the flame kindle upon you." If you have reached a point where you feel you cannot go on, just call out and Jesus will be there! He hears our every cry. He has promised in Hebrews 13:5 "He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [ Assuredly not!]" Amplified Bible It is okay if you do not understand everything. Just surrender the whole situation to Him and ask Him to take care of you, and He'll help you to come through. Since that time, I never had to look back, I was never alone for the Lord was always with me. My life changed forever when I accepted the love and saving grace of Jesus.
