When I noticed a tree completely decorated with flowers and little paper signs all fastened to the bark

Having a curious nature I pulled my car over to investigate further
There must have been thirty or forty hand-written and painted letters and notes all addressed to this fellow named Miguel who it seemed was just seventeen years old when he died
I couldn?t help but notice how beautiful the tree looked with all its colorful decorations dotting the trunk of the tree like psychodelic leaves
I stood there in the shade its new found beauty so dearly gained by the loss of such a young life
What must it feel like to have lived so long, seen so much, grown so tall and yet have no voice to tell your story what would you say if you had the chance?

I stood there for nearly an hour and was deeply moved as I read letter after letter.
All these different people touched in so many ways by this one 17 year old boy.
