Story Behind The Song
The story behind this song comes from casual conversation between me and my producer. Leaving the studio the other day, he asked if I had another song for next week. I remarked that I had several, but they were unfinished business. He said that was a great title for a song. I thought about his comment on the way back home. I visualized this title to portray dysfunctional sexual relations and the pills that are advertised to solve that problem. The twist is the female partner's dissatisfaction with his performance.
Song Description
The singer tells her partner that she has not been sexually satisfied. She tells him to pop another little pill. She tells him not to use lame excuses and to get the job done. She is tired of his selfishness and continues to complain of unfinished business.

Lyrics
Unfinished Business
(Intro)
I. Don't pull up yo' pants. Pop another little pill.
We ain't done yet. I didn't get my fill.
We ain't leavin' outta this motel room.
'Til I'm satisfied. Better be soon.
(Turnaround)
II. No foreplay for me. Had to cut to th' chase.
I'm layin' here. You gotta pretty face.
Better not pass out, 'cause we ain't done.
Come on, little soldier, I want my fun. Ow, ow.
(Turnaround)
(Chorus)
Don't say you got a headache.
Don't say you had a heartbreak.
Don't say you're tired and needin' sleep.
Don't say you'll make it up to me.
Unfinished business, oh yeah. Unfinished business, oh yeah.
(Turnaround)
III. It's all about you. Don't give a crap about me.
Insensitive, to my sexual needs.
You don't give enough a that gentle touch.
Hey, speed racer, won't miss you much. Ow, ow.
(Turnaround)
(Chorus)
Don't say you got a headache.
Don't say you had a heartbreak.
Don't say you're tired and needin' sleep.
Don't say you'll make it up to me.
Unfinished business, oh yeah. Unfinished business, oh yeah. Unfinished business, oh yeah. Unfinished business, oh yeah.
(Bridge)
You always leave me hangin'.
Even though you say you're hung.
You always get your jollies.
But, baby, I ain't done!
(Drum fill)
