Lyrics
Neighbor
She lives like a phantom, keeps the curtains closed
Jumping when the phone rings, never answering the door.
Oh she is your neighbor... and you don?t even know
Trying hard to hide the bruises, camouflage around her eyes.
Coming up with new excuses, anything to stay inside
Oh she is your neighbor... and you don?t even know
She?s got nowhere to run, afraid for her son,
maybe the next time, he?ll use the gun
There?s no way to help her, cause how were you to know.
That it could come to, one final blow
Oh she is your neighbor... and you don?t even know
She?s got nowhere to run, afraid for her son,
maybe the next time, she?ll use the gun
You tried not to worry, but when you heard the sound
you went over to her house, amazed by what you found
Oh she is your neighbor... and now you finally know
She won?t have to run, or be afraid for her son,
finally this time, she used the gun.
