Uncle Spider & The Electric Dirt Clods

Your Dad Was Right About Me

Song Length 3:01 Genre Pop - General, Country - General

Guitar lick is catchy, drums fit in with the guitar part, overall song has a lot of potential. Song could go in a lot of different directions such as pop punk, but it's probably best fit for a British pop Oasis type sound. The guitar lick reminded me a little bit of here comes the sun by the Beatles.

It's a nice tune that reminds me of a spring day in the park. Hence, the title i suggested for it.
It's a relaxed melody, that especially at the intro, reminded me of a country rhythm. I could imagine a country singer singing lyrics to it.
I can also imagine this melody being used as a background music to a family video or some musical capture of a timeframe in a movie.

its got a good beat and groove to it ...

A great intro with the upbeat pop drums and guitar riffs. Pleasant melody with a catchy dance beat. Also sounds very lyrical although none are included in this version, but the placement of verses and hook are quite discernable and should make for an excellent singalong piece when developed further.
