Story Behind The Song
Some of you may be familiar with the track 'Love Is In Everyone' I submitted a while ago. I was never over keen on the lyrics, so I asked my very good friend Cyndi Corkran, to provide a new lyric and vocals. As per usual, Cyndi added her incredible artistry to the song, giving it a totally newfound lifeforce, also adding Strings, piano and a choral part, which really enhances the song. Thanks again Cyndi, you are a true professional.

Lyrics
I burned your letters today
Those from me
And all you had to say
It seemed fitting
A bit strange
They connected
Our separate frames
Kept you from being
So far away
The chimenea
Choked on every word
Those things of the past
Had never been heard
The years have come and gone
Those words no longer
Sing the same, old song
Solitary affair
I knew you so well
Way back then
You have a place
Always to dwell
I f you ever come again
There will be nor more writing
No time to string along
I burned your letters today
Was that wrong?
I kept them
Till they turned a deep yellow
I held them
Neath my winter pillow
But now
It's all gone
Those words no longer belong
Solitary affair
I knew you so well
Way back then
You have a place
Always to dwell
I f you ever come again
Solitary affair
I feel you've slipped away
Will you ever
Come again some day?
Solitary affair
I feel you've slipped away
Will you ever
Come again some day?
(Break)
Solitary affair
I knew you so well
Way back then
You have a place
Always to dwell
I f you ever come again
Solitary affair
I feel you've slipped away
Will you ever
Come again some day?
Solitary affair
