Story Behind The Song

I was suffering from ingrowing toenails. I'd get them cut back and then they would grow back again and put me back into a pain state again. One night I was tossing and turning trying to get to sleep as I could feel the pain beginning to return. I was beginning to think I would never be free from this. I could get them cut back but they would only come back and haunt me again. I was caught in a painloop. As this thought hit me, I jumped out of bed and wrote the words 'caught in a painloop' on a piece of paper. I went back to bed and the following morning I started recording the track.

Song Description

Catchy ambient track with a acoustic guitar riff as the key signature sample. The vocal is purposely slightly off-key to give the impression of pained distraction. Features a guest appearance by a well known TV celebrity about mid way through. Irish listeners are the only ones likely to 'get the joke'.
