Story Behind The Song
About breaking free of social norms
Song Description
The song is about oppression and breaking free of the social norms that school and the media tell us we need to do to be loved and accepted, and what the government tells us what we need to do to survive. It's about fighting the personal things that are going on inside of us coming from all of these powerful influences, when what's truly important is connecting with one another with non-judgement.

Lyrics
When I was young I needed protection 1
When I was young, how old am I now?
When I was just a baby I remember
All the cold rain & me
All the water from the gutter
Melting me down like a sheet on my senses
I heed all the fences, see all your tenseness now
It's crowding me, Honey you're crowding me
I just try to substitute things
Like Neapolitan (ice cream)
I scream louder than before because what
I need is to be
A being wrapped in the comfort of a mac truck
It keeps dragging me on down
Soon I won't be the one to say
Or break the yay or nay
The decisions are all gonna be pre-made
We're all gonna be pre-made
Fuck the indirect aggression
Fuck the politik and po-po
They give you tiny meat to eat
And say "have another pie in the sky"
I know a fairy-boy named Ethnicity
Who spins techno on the weekends
Is telekinetic, has telekinesis, he says
"Tell a friend, & you'll save 50 buck on
your next visit"
I know all about you, you're the type
not to Go go go
We are always going so
Far far far
Watch me get going I will be
Long long gone
Watch me get going
Gonna be gone, so long so long
Don't be an aggressive, ineffective thing 2
A little ting wilting, a little fish flailing
In the ocean
Of your own integrity
Born with the uses of all your senses
Still you're just a picture or a fragment
Of who you could be, but go on lovely
Draw one more line
Add it all up
Let me tell you something honey
It still don't mean that much
I know it still don't mean that much
In the long run
The long run
How did I get so far?
How did I get so far from home?
I'm not gonna be pre-made
I'm not gonna be pre-made
I won't be pre-made
I'll never be pre-made
