Story Behind The Song
Everyone wants love, so why do some people still need it?
Song Description
I thought it'd be fun to ask, IF, to the Beatles song title, All We Need Is Love; then apply is to worldwide issues, in a light, way. The track has a nice contrast between the slow (halftime) open verses, and the retro driven choruses, along with groovin bridge set to a typical George Martinesque strings part. All real instruments used on this track. The is the last track of a new CD, about to be released, called "At This Moment", by my band The Noted

Lyrics
If All You Need Is Love
by Daniel Work (ASCAP), copyright 2011
If everyone needs love
How do people die alone
If all they wanted and all we felt was love
The busy streets are full
with friends we could have known
If all we felt and all we gave was love
(chorus) All you need is love
That's what "The Beatles" said
If all we need is love ya
We'd never be alone
Let's love one another
That's what "The Bible" says
Treat everybody like your brother baby
Now that is perfect love
If all we need is love
Why is there so much hate
If all we needed, if all we got was love
"The Beatles" might have lied
and the scriptures may be wrong
But what if all we got and all we gave was love
Chorus
Bridge (perfect love)
