Story Behind The Song
we basically recorded this one during the graveyard hours at our university studio in a giant empty and dark concert hall. so you can almost feel that loneliness seep through the music. most of the time we were tired and cold, and that shines through as well. but listenning to it now i get a sense that there's a lot going on on this track the layers are very deep and the voicing is both original and uncannily spacious...enjoy
Song Description
Chris and I worked on this score which was used for a short film by antoinette Karuna as well as for another by rory kenny. It is a sad number, kind of like a waltz that is a nice mixture of synth music and traditionnal instruments. You can hear the marching band drums and timpani as well as the classsical guitars. The end takes on a kind of twist with a roaring guitar solo which takes you into a submarine-esque environment. it is kind of sad in mood but has very uplifting moments.
